Sergio Martinez won’t be allowed to wear knee brace for Cotto fight on Saturday
Is the deck already being stacked against Sergio? Is cotto hoping for another Yuri Foreman? Yanno, I really couldn't understand why Sergio was getting so upset with Cotto's requests before... Now i'm just hoping Sergio Makes good on his prediction for Cotto to not make it out of the 9th round.

For Cotto nuthuggers who were going on about how brave Cotto was for moving up a division (well, kind of) to fight Sergio, here's the reality check:
He's fighting a 39 year old who needs a KNEE BRACE to fight.

Cotto haters need to at least try to be objective. What is Martinez doing defending his title using a knee brace? What next an arm brace because somebody has a shot elbow? Why should he be able to get leverage advantage through artificial means? This is ridiculous and if that injury is that bad then quit fighting.

Cotto is the house fighter here. The NYSAC are doing everything they can to extend his career.
If Sergio wins comfortably on points how confident will he feel in the ring afterwards waiting for the decision?

...You could also include needing xylocaine injections in the hands to numb them to be able to fight. But then a guy'd only be able to fight in Nevada because xylocaine in the hands in banned by most other athletic commissions in the USA.

Agreed... Martinez is the undisputed champion of the world and should have never agreed to these bullshit terms in the 1st place. I like Cotto but the whole A side B side crap is nonsense when it comes to respect to the champion and Cotto should have understood that. You want the belts come and get them on a level playing field.

I don't buy that in this case and I called Cotto on his stupid weight demand and name appearing first on the banner.Again, if that knee is still that fk'd up then Martinez should have retired. He does not have a special right to gain leverage through artificial means anymore then someone has to do steroids. What next an elbow brace for arm extension of full fake limb?
