Brook v Porter set for NY Aug 9th

Who wins and why?

Happens to land on my birthday so if you saddo fans want to treat me to flights accommodation and fight tickets I'd grudgingly accept

If someone starts putting it together I'll throw 20$ to the cause.

This fight seems the extreme of being decided by who forces their fight. I see no shot for Porter if the entire fight is at range. I see no shot for Brook if Porter can get inside easily and turn it into a fight rather than a boxing match.

What I expect is complicated. There seems to be something wrong with Brook otherwise he would have fought for a title 3/4 years ago. Going off that I'll say Porter gets by the jab and makes Brook uncomfortable. Brook finds a way out. Maybe a clash of heads and Brook claims he can't see. Not sure but I think he looks for a way out.

I don't buy it. That was far to easy and its reported by boxingscene w/o one acknowledgement from either side. I just cant see Hearn not wanting this to go to purse bid. I have no faith in Brook. He doesn't have the melon. Brook will come up with some ailment a week before the fight.

If Hearn believes in Brook he should stump up the readies to get this in the UK. I don't think Brook will travel well.

If Brook really wants this then I'd expect him to expose Porters poor mobility and be able to counter the wild swings.

A test for both fighters and we can learn something new from them in this matchup. Has Brook got enough pop to get respect from Porter? Can Porter deal with mobility and punches from angles he doesnt expect. Will Brook freeze in this jump to title shot in foreign land?

Brook will shine, he is quality and precision straight punches will dissect Porter.
