soto karass vs alexander who wins?

somehow i completely missed the memo. i just realized that this fight is happening on saturday. its an interesting match up. both have a lot riding on this match since that are both coming off a loss. i think a loss for either fighter really hurts their career for good. a win by either can get them another fight against a bigger name.

im not sure who i think wins this one. alexander should win if he is sharp and can box (like the maidana fight). alexander doesnt always seem to come in sharp though. if he doesnt, i see soto karass overwhelming him and winning a UD.

Karass is like a very good gate keeper, if you beat karass you are good enough to challenge for a title


I think he can make good money being that fella for some time so I don't think a loss to alexander will really hurt that much, a win could give him a better opportunity

I see Devon Alexander boxing to a wide decision

I'm getting the feeling that Soto Karass is damaged goods at this point. His punch resistance appears to be dwindling and it looks like a contest to see who will be able to put the most heavy leather on him.

Yep. Last time he fought I thought it would be the prefect time to hang them up. He took an absolute pounding. Alexander wide UD.

Soto Karass has always been a poor mans Margarito and a great TV fighter.

That said, he should get his ears boxed off by boring, but very talented Alexander.

If he doesn't....well Alexander could always fight Berto.

Glad Soto Karass is getting another event, but really this one has all the appeal of a trip to the DMV with a hangover. Alfonso Gomez took more chances with Soto Karass than Alexander will press. Settle in, grab your snuggie and pillow and remember to wake up in time for main event.

Alexander should win. But than again I thought he would put up more of a fight against Porter. So who knows

i feel like this is alexanders fight to lose honestly. karass is very predictable and wont come in with any new gameplan. he will be slow and plod forward. thats what he does. alexander should be able to come in with a gameplan to win fairly easily but we will see which alexander shows up.
