Weidman vs Machida
Weidman won the fight in a convincing manner, he was never in serious trouble. Whenever Weidman had Machida backing up, Machida seemed befuddled.
I think the weight cut hurt Machida more than they thought, it seemed to me that he lacked power, either that or Weidman has a chin of granite.
It was a good fight and Weidman is becoming better and better all the time. He is a smart guy, so you can be sure he will be working on his stamina and his standup. He seemed finished in the fourth but came back some in the fifth.
A good learning experience for Weidman.
What do you think Machida will do, go back up or stay at this weight?

Re: Weidman vs Machida
he likes it at 185... was fighting at 205 for the longest time cos his friend/teammate anderson silva was champ at 185
with that said, weidman is legit, but lyoto was game throughout the fight even up to the last seconds of round 5
although weidman was dominant, thought he should've went for the finish -- perhaps a testament to lyoto's defensive skills?
