This is a rather boring and uneventful year in boxing.
Isn't it? This year is a terrible year for fight fans. Nothing is worth watching. Nothing. Floyd fighting Maidana again, but it ain't really worth all of that.
Froch won't fight Ward for a second time...
Chad Dawson is just about relegated to mediocre status now...
Stevenson and Kovalev won't mix it up...
Hopkins is boring and doesn't want to fight Kovalev or Ward...
Danny Garcia has no real challengers that want to make a fight... nothing is building....
Bradley had his last scraps with Provodnikov, Pac twice and JMM and they were entertaining. But he has nothing on the radar.
Pac has just about run out of all of his challengers except for Mayweather and Khan...
Nonito Donaire isn't fighting anyone noteworthy...
Chisora and Fury is just too uneventful to watch...
Haye is acting like a punk and doesn't wanna fight...
Wlad is boring as hell and his challengers are waning... this year is a bad year for him too...
What's left to watch?
The biggest events happened already- Martinez vs. Cotto and Froch vs. Groves. That's all we had this year and all we have to look forward to with regard to an exciting, toss em up fight- even though Groves was expected to lose, he made you feel he had something to pull from deep down to show us real championship grit.

If Arum put his fighters against GBP then things would be very exciting.

You guys are spoiled, I've been having fun!
You are easily pleased or you would be ecstatic if the real big fights that could be made were made.
Re: This is a rather boring and uneventful year in boxing.
Ive been happy enough. Canellos 2 fights have been decent and cards were ok to. Mayweather v Maidan 1 was a decent scrap and an ok card. Pacquiao Bradly wasnt the worst either. So they were the big PPVs.
Domestically we had Groves Froch 2 which was good and have Bellew-Cleverly and maybe Froch Degale to look forward too. Frampton v Kiko is a big fight in Ireland and is a decent matchup. Fury Chisora should be fun too. Also had cracking fights like Murray v Crolla, Coyle v Brizuela (poss FOTY) and Mitchell Maduma.
Stateside we had Russell Jr v Loma, Gamboa-Crawford, Guerrero Kamegai, Cotto Martinez, with more to come with Broner, Matthysse, Porter, Thurman etc all to fight again this year.
I actually think the year has been consistently very good with decent fights most weekends. Even tonight we have Mayfield v Taylor which is a good FNF fight.
Re: This is a rather boring and uneventful year in boxing.
Molina Jr. v. Matthysse, Stiverne against Arreola, Algieri vs. Provo, Cotto vs. Martinez, Froch v. Groves 2, Loma vs. Russell Jr. and Guerrero v. Kameda were all good fights
