I love the sound of the connects on these old clips. Old horse hair 4 and 6 ounce mitts that sound like leather contacting leather lol. The thuds are so raw. And those detached thumbs. Packey turned his thumbs in but Gibbons lead looked like a Velociraptor claw at times. Its amazing that he was not known as a thumber like Norfolk or Roper who most likely blinded Greb.
Good stuff.

I have a rare copy of Fairs book along with Paxtons and Comptons. I've been unable to acquire Cohns book.
I hope history repeats itself and I find myself in the roaring 20's ;D
