Just saw this on Beltran's Facebook. He's signed the contract.
Should be a damn good fight between two of the divisions best lightweights if not the best.
Beltran is the underdog, but I believe he can walk Crawford down and hurt him. Will be far from easy.
I'm glad this fight is happening even though I think Crawford wins a wide UD. I hope Beltran gets a good payday. He deserves it IMO especially considering the Burns debacle.
Man, this is a fun fight. Beltran well deserves a shot. But Crawford has hit a stride and his switch hitting and sharpness should be very very taxing on Beltran. Ray can box well enough himself, but thinking Crawford outclasses him late on. Big time.

Crawford will be the favorite. And rightly so. But Beltran is a very live dog
Beltran is a tough opponent for most at his weight, but Crawford impressed me with his speed, poise, and adaptability against Gamboa. Crawford gets him out of there in middle rounds.Quote:
