Derrick Rossy is on the scene as a real contender!
His last few showings, coupled with his commitment to his training now, he has come full circle and taking it serious now.
He shouldn't allow the set back with Glazkov to deter him. Let's face it- Glazkov has been consistent and has more potential. Can't let any Johnie Come-Lately with a good night disrupt the prospect.
Rossy needs to climb back with an ESPN showing vs. a regular stiff. Then try to chalk up a few wins and then try to go for the kill against a real contender.
I think, if Rossy play his cards right, he can get big paydays and at least one shot within 3 years.
Stay with it Rossy. Do it right. Stay with it. Don't be a Ray Mercer and funk-out after a few losses based on your past performance and lacklustre performances in the past.

He's had two good showings that is true. But he is easy to figure out and not that relevant imo. IMO it's more a question of preparation where he exploited his opponents falws well. But vs gifted fighters offensively with a good arsenal, he is like swiss cheese
But i agree, he looked good last saturday, won vs a limited Hanks and looked decent vs Oquendo.

I think that fight went more to show that Glazkov isn't a real contender, with all due respect to both guys. Rossy is a huge guy and decent, but he wouldn't have much of a chance against any of the better guys in the division.

I think he can now look to derail some young talent and get paid on some ESPN events.

He had some serious moments with Glazkov and a game plan with the uppercuts off the jab and had him wobbled bad early. I can't see a reinvention or think he'll shock the world but rededicating to fulltime will suit him well as isn't with some ability.
His next move should be attending Deontay Wilders next fight and sit ringside with a massive sign....

I am pretty sure that would rule him out of being a potential opponent for deontay wilder ...
