giving maidana the rematch was not smart. I see the possibility of floyd getting caught. he should've just taken the win and went on to diffrent opposition. What he is doing is giving maidana another 12 rounds to go for the knock out. Maidana is like no other boxer he really has no respect for mayweather and will be going in for the kill. Now if mayweather doesn't get caught I see him getting the decision again but I don't think it'll be easy like everyone thinks it's going to be. It will be similar to the first fight.
let us hope and pray floyd gets ko'ed brutally. but with the judges, venue and boxing world in your pocket, a KO is the only way maidana will win.
First fight I saw Floyd truly getting old, not fight 3 minutes a round in the last few, very happy to spoil, left hand looking a little shot at times, roughed up and not happy at times.
Father time is well and truly in the other corner now and will only held Maidana.
If Maidana had any sense, he'd aim to take the middle rounds off. Sear Floyd in a hot pan for the first 4 rounds, leave Floyd on a low heat to reduce down for the next 4 then put back on the hob to burn to a crisp.
Seriously though - Maidana doesn't have great conditioning himself, if he wants to finish real strong, he'll need to find away to take a break, make Floyd use his legs and make Floyd's adjustment faze work against him.
The thing is with Floyd, when you take breaks with him and back off, he gets on a mega roll, racks up points, and you never get back into the fight. Mosely tried that.Quote:
