I wouldn't qualify as a bucket boy at the elite level but I'd like to be a "Second"
If you want a job in boxing, you better get a well-paying '2nd' job first. Eddie Futch worked odd jobs- he worked for the post office when he went to LA- until he made money with Frazier. Jackie McCoy trained a bunch of top guys and he kept his job on the docks in LA.
And keep quiet about your 2nd job, or all the broke big-shots will be trying to get in your pocket.
Cut man, Mick the rub Williamson gets about.
Ring boy ;)
I was thinking escorting the ring card girls, when I thought up this thread watching the Brooks v Porter fight. :)
@Master
Porn supplier of the elites;D
Promoter.
I'm a boxing fan. That's the only 'boxing job' I'd want or am qualified to do.
Now THAT is a full time job, and certainly one where those in charge temp us to quit with every shat decision and mismatch ;D
I think fight night photographer would be a cool gig and perspective to the sport. No matter how far we come, the story of a still shot is timeless.
