International Judges- America less sold!
Why is it that you can have a mix of international judges on foreign soil, especially for title fights and sanctioned title eliminators, but you can hardly have international judges on American soil judging high profile bouts?
Take for example the fight yesterday with Huck and Larghetti- two judges were American and one judge was Mexican. The fight was in Germany.
International judging ensures a bit of fairness and neutralizes home field advantages and makes the fight, if it comes to a decision, seem more pure and organic in terms of the results.
I don't understand it??
Re: International Judges- America less sold!
When US fighters fight foreign fighters on US soil I am sure they have judges from different countries.

It's because of the different commissions - New York/California/Nevada etc, they all have their own officials and rules and regulations.
I believe, for example, the Nevada commission don't allow officials from outside their jurisdiction, therefore you see the same Las Vegas refs/judges all the time. Or you never see Steve Smoger (east coast) in Vegas etc.
Fighters can object to - and get changed - the officals appointed though.
