The left hook, for a righty, seems to be seems to be the simplest punch to teach.
You see it once, get the mechanics down and you have it.
I guess you could say that about any punch you like or are comfortable throwing, but the hook seems to be so natural, pick the spot, lean and shift the weight, twist the torso, and a good feeling when it connects.
No one can teach me a thing about oversimplification so I hope most of you understand what I'm saying.
