Global heat record set in August 2014
Global heat record set in August 2014
This past August broke records for the hottest August since global temperature records began in 1880, despite cool summer temperatures in parts of Canada.
The world's land and ocean surfaces averaged 16.35 C in August 2014, breaking the previous record set in 1998, reported the U.S. National Climatic Data Center run by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
The ocean was particularly warm, breaking a record high temperature set in June 2014 with an average global surface temperature of 17.11 C.

I suppose that's due to Anthropogenic Climate Change......same with the snow we're already getting in North America :rolleyes:

According to climate change scientists, the weather will become more erratic and inconsistent, with unseasonable cold by times and unusual warmth by times.
The overall effect however is global warming.

Think humans have a certain amount of impact, not all from air pollutants though as they try to make out and tax you on. Try this lot on for size: Years of unchecked toxic run off from industry and sewerage, deforestation, over fishing, over stocking of one species on grass,mobile damaging microbes and star fish species being transferred daily from foreign bilge water released into pure ports, then solid pollutants then the air pollutants on top for good measure. Then we have jet travel and volcanoes just two more massive things we just cant stop.
Its a shame but very useful they have linked the term air pollutants into the word Anthropogenic;
To keep up the true fight :rolleyes:
Its political and its extreme out on both sides nothing else.

I've heard some say that these numbers have been fudged, that 1934 was warmer. There is, at the end of the rainbow, an estimated 3 trillion to be made annually selling carbon tax credits if people can be made to feel guilty enough. And Al Gore has conned reddit into banning debate on this issue and threatens to sue anybody that disagrees with him. He is every bit the lying piece of garbage that people hold GW Bush to be.
There is nobody honest involved, not with the numbers being bandied about, so just do the best you can.

85 percent humidity...officially over summer! I am ready for smelly wood fires and crisp wind in the face. Summer in the deep South is a whole different kind of wet misery ;D

The ocean is the problem, its a bigger world than ours and ours has effected it dramatically
.
They cant tax you on the ocean.

They say if you lay all the women in the world head to toe right around the planet, 3/4 of them will drown.
