Floyd avoiding Thurman now!
As if Manny wasn't bad enough. Floyd dismisses Thurman as if Thurman just started boxing yesterday. Saying Thurman is too green. Well, Canelo was too green as well- forget the 40 plus fight record, Canelo was fighting a bum a month down there in Mexico for his first 25 fights or so.
Mayweather, just don't talk anymore when it comes to who you would or wouldn't fight. Because you sound stupid.

If he beats Andre Berto, he should get the fight.

Disagree here also. Berto loses every time he steps up. I don't think that beating Berto or Broner automatically earns someone a shot at Floyd. Guerrero beat Berto n Floyd ran him out of the ring. It wasn't a match at all. If Thurman beats Kell Brook, then Khan n then a Bradley he will be ready. You don't jump to Floyd by beating Berto, it's not even close...

Berto looked like a walking ko in the waiting last out and was being buzzed by a guy with 5,6 kos? Thurman learns or earns very little by smashing a used up Berto except false confidence

You kidding, Thurman has to beat Brooks, Khan and Bradley to earn a fight with Floyd.
Less dangerous fighters have earned the shot as far as I am concerned Thurman is better than Guerrero and Maidana for Floyd. At welterweight there is only Manny and Bradley left and they work for the dark side. Thurman is a better choice than Khan or Brooks.
Re: Floyd avoiding Thurman now!
Just to put Thurman in perspective, he would be a very short fav over Maidana. And would likely be fav over Khan and Brook. Floyd is doing what Floyd always does. Avoid very strong prospects.

Khan and Brooks have both beaten tougher opposition than Thurman at this point. You are correct that there are limited choices at the weight, but Thurman isn't the best choice in my opinion. My previous post came across different than what I intended. I don't feel that Thurman has to beat all three to earn the shot at Floyd. I was saying that for Thurman to have a realistic chance at beating Floyd, he needed to gradually step his competition up by fighting the level of fighters of Brooks, Khan n then Bradley.

What if that was said when Lomanchenko won his first title or fought for his first title? Floyd wasn't really "ready" for his first title either. He proved he was when he beat the man.
Don't make excuses for Floyd ducking like he seems to be prone to do these days...
Re: Floyd avoiding Thurman now!
This shit is getting ridiculous. Floyd will be avoiding the Charlo brothers next. Why would Thurman even be on Floyds radar at this point? Its asinine and the pundits that write this garbage are strokers.

Sarcasm, my friend. Guerrero and Ortiz got the Floyd fight because they beat Berto. It was ridiculous then and it's ridiculous now. Thurman needs a big win at welterweight. Porter, Khan, Brook etc.

THis is the excuse gayweather uses when he knows there is a vvery high chance he might get fucked up. THe money dick riders will agree with floyd everytime he fights someone that really has no bizness in the ring with him. I bet Bhop wouldnt run from a challenge. floyd is a ho....all he cares about is making money, not testing himself. the easier the better
