Eubank Jnr wanting a tune up before Saunders
Chris Eubank Jr. on The Hunt For October 25 Opponent - Boxing News
On the echo card on the 25th...how stupid is this?? Saunders is prepared to give him 20k so he doesn't risk an injury. Eubank does confuse me sometimes.
heres the Skype press conference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XP9...BtKi45eHFGAduw
Re: Eubank Jnr wanting a tune up before Saunders
Eubank Sr really frustrates Warren. Warren is red in the face and biting like fuck at the end having a quarrel with Sr in front of everyone. Brilliant!!
As Sr said, the fight was only sanctioned yesterday morning so until then there was no fight to talk about.
It is a risk but the original opponent has pulled out.
Re: Eubank Jnr wanting a tune up before Saunders
Frank Warren is so desperate to put this fight on that he puts up with Eubank Sr. taking the piss out of him big time. Warren is in the shit! If he didn't want Eubank Jr. to fight beforehand, he could've easily put a clause in the contract. this fight was put on the bill cos nobody is interested in the Fury - Chisora fight, that fight , with the unfortunate Death of Hughie Fury is probably hanging by a thread, and so is this fight. He would only put up with all this if he was absolutely desperate.
Frank Warren said if the Eubank fight didn't come off, Saunders would fight Korobov for a World Title.
That was clearly bollocks because if that was possible, he would've pulled the plug on the Eubanks ages ago. Meanwhile , both the Eubanks probably sit there every day pissing themselves, thinking "how can we wind up Warren and Saunders today?"
If I was Billy Joe, I would be fucking fuming , obviously with the Eubanks, but more with my own promoter because he's letting all this happen. Wouldn't Surprise me if BJS turns around and gets "injured" in the build up and the fight is cancelled!
I wouldn't be surprised if Eddie Hearn hasn't been circling round Billy Joe looking to nick him from Warren.

Warren will be secretly shitting himself that Saunders is going to lose.
Saunders is a good fighter, he may be a wolrd class light middle, maybe even welter. Compare his physique to other proper middles and you can see he's not that big. He's going to get a shock with Eubanks strength.saunders keeps harping on about fighters like Blackwell and Ryder but in the sparring footage we saw, would they be winning any part of sparring against Froch let alone be competitive or even considered strong enough just to he called in to help possibly the strongest super middle in the world prepare for (Frochs words) "the biggest fight in British history"?
It is history repeating. Jimmy Tibbs must be getting fucked off with Eubank and Ronnie Davies. Out of the 5 times he's faced them he's lost, as a trainer. Davies even stuck the knife in himself by saying they nearly fought each other in the ABA's and he would have beaten him then to!;D
Re: Eubank Jnr wanting a tune up before Saunders
I cracked up when Frank finally went off his nut at the end.
Frank (asking rhetorical question) - have I broke the contract.
Eubank - Yes, four times.
Eubank - we are changing the game by doing everything by the contract. Not hand shakes, the contract.
Frank - just so everyone knows, the previous fights were hand shakes.
Eubank is a promoter that doesn't want to do any promotion. Mad. Brilliant.

Eubank could sell a fight just by walking down the street!;D
Chris Eubank Jr unfortunately is going to be over shadowed by his dad in the build up to this fight. Saunders will be gobby and Sr wont be ale to contain himself having the last word. Its going to be hilarious!
Imagine the press conference when tyson fury is involved as well! He likes Saunders because he comes from a travelling background and I should imagine it will end up being the Eubanks taking on all comers with regards to arguing!
Have to say I liked Jrs retort to saunders when offered the £20,000 not to box. "Keep your money, you will need it";D
Re: Eubank Jnr wanting a tune up before Saunders
It is nice to see the boxer screwing the promoter for a change.
Re: Eubank Jnr wanting a tune up before Saunders
I had high hopes for the kid but was bothered about his oldman living vicariously through him. I dont get thee tune-up needs. The guys been tuning up at times a fight a month and each time his dad claims he can destroy the field.
Time to shit or get off the pot.
