Luke Campbell vs Daniel Eduardo Brizuela

Luke Campbell vs Daniel Eduardo Brizuela, Tommy Coyle vs Michael Katsidis, Gavin McDonnell vs Vusi Malinga. This has Michael Katsidis, and he's an International Star who has beaten UK fighters in the UK before, so it will be largely ignored that he's 34 and doesn't have a good win since 2010, when he beat Kevin Mitchell. But in all reality, Katsidis could conceivably win this fight. Maybe. I mean, he couldn't beat Albert Mensah, which wasn't on Mensah being good. Campbell continues his journey as a draw in Hull, and McDonnell-Malinga is a decent fight on paper.

Did you know that back in the day - when David Haye was headlining lesuire centres in front of 300 bods, and Carl Froch was getting bashed up by an Aussie sheep farmer down the old York Hall - this forum had it's own healthy British board.

Anyway...

Campbell was impressive, although I expected him to do what he did, I don't think Coyle has much chance against him.

Coyle landed an almost indentical counter to the one Derry Mathews ironed him out with. Great shot.

I remember some of Frochs early fights, but not a British board, must have been before I joined and ruined the forum.

Campbell continues to impress and you are right I think he has too much for Coyle but fun while it lasts. He should target Dirty Derry and the Lonsdale and Euro belts next year at this rate. Lots of amateur experience already, so used to fighting in others back yards.

Katsidis still looked lively. How the fuck did Earl last more than 3 minutes?

Back then the only active British fighters mentioned on this board were Calzaghe - the most pathetic coward to ever put gloves on, and Hatton - the most pathetic padded record hype job to ever put gloves on.

On the British board we had people telling us about John Fewkes being the next big thing and why Haye was ducking Mark Hobson, and Anthony Small had yet to go completely insane and Paul Smith would post to embarrass people that pretended to know him, and Ricky Burns was getting bashed all over the shop by Carl Johanneson
