What does Bryant Jennings do now?
Well, what does he do?
Should he wait to take Wlad?
Does he sit and wait until Stiverne/Wilder decide the date they want to fight?
Does he take on a bottom 20 bum just to bide the time?
Does he take on a top 10 guy, with the risk?
What if Wlad decides he wants to take on a mandatory bum? What if Wilder/Stiverne doesn't happen right now?
Decisions for Bryant Jennings. Some where down the line this man needs a shot- against Wlad or the winner of Stiverne/Wilder or Stiverne himself, because Wilder doesn't seem eager to get it on or else he would have signed already.

Let's refrain from calling fighters "bums" for starters lol
Re: What does Bryant Jennings do now?
What he should do is camp out on Ruslan Chagaev's doorstep, demand a shot and take his 'trinket'. Chagaev "is looking for an alternate opponent" now that mandatory Ortiz got caught juicing and is suspended.
Jennings would beat the hell out of Chagaev
If that cannot happen beating up Huff N' Puff Briggs as suggested by Lyle works well. For free.
Re: What does Bryant Jennings do now?
Yeah, Chagaev is easy pickings for a trinket, I can't even remember if Jennings won another version of it against PErez or is just the top ranked guy in the WBA but either way.
I don't think Briggs will fight anyone good unless it's enough to cash out and retire on flat out, he should just be ignored by everyone in that case.
There aren't a whole lot of guys for Jennings if he's waiting on Wlad or the Wilder/Stiverne winner. I'd say fights with Steve Cunningham or say Amir Mansour would be great in the meantime, but both are extremely risky for him.
Re: What does Bryant Jennings do now?
I like the Briggs option... to be totally honest... but will Briggs take it? If he wants Wlad fighting Briggs, while it shuts Briggs up if he wins, really is no impetus for Wlad because honestly Wlad had little interest in fighting Briggs in the first place.
Jennings has to decide for his VERY NEXT FIGHT if whether or not he wants the Wilder/Stiverne track and wait, and in the meantime fight a bottom 20 BUM as a warm up. Or, he takes on one of Wlad's previous opponents- Leapai, Wach, Pianetta or the like, bust them up, and then ask Wlad for a shot.
He can pull off the latter if he stays away from dangerous fights like Pulev or Povektin.
Re: What does Bryant Jennings do now?
I think Bryant Jennings' style makes for the best matchups really.
Vyacheslov Glazkov is ripe for the picking given how poorly he performed vs Malik Scott and Jennings is much better than Scott.
Andy Ruiz Jr. he's another young undefeated American heavyweight....slow but powerful would be a good clash of styles.
Ruslan Chagaev old veteran, would give Jennings a hard fight.
Artur Szpilka just won over Adamek and his star is on the rise.
But I think the BEST fight in terms of money, potential boost to stock, would be Bryant Jennings vs Lucas Browne. It's speed vs power, undefeated vs undefeated, America vs Australia, and honestly I think it's a fight where Jennings can look spectacular.

Jennings already beat Szplika- badly at that.

Well since that's the case I reckon he could try Luis Ortiz, Amir Mansour, Malik Scott, and maybe Mariuisz Wach.
Jennings may want to try to fight a big puncher or a guy who is a similar size to Wlad/Wilder in order to prepare himself for whatever comes down the road Wlad, Wilder, Stiverne
