Fury-Chisora II/Billy Joe-Eubank jr
Well folks we're 11 days away from the big rematch of British heavyweights and it's time to get a little discussion going of who we think is in shape, who we think is ready, and ultimately who we think is going to win this fight. There's a lot on the line, a title shot, a gigantic payday, and the chance for one of these guys to make history.
3 years ago Dereck Chisora 261 lbs lost a unanimous decision to Tyson Fury 255 1/2 lbs. Fury was a slight underdog, Chisora weighed the heaviest of his career, and this was again a chance to gain some momentum towards a title shot.
Last fight Chisora weighed in at 238 and beat a crafty Kevin Johnson. Tyson Fury has had a host of family issues to deal with including the death of his former trainer and Uncle Hughie Fury and his wife's recent miscarriage and is apparently broke from postponement after postponement and family issues so expect him to be hungry for the fight.
I believe we will see more of a brawl and punches thrown with very bad intentions. If Tyson Fury is to win he will need to pump the jab and keep Chisora at bay making Del Boy work for a way inside and if he gets inside Fury will have to either land big or tie up.
In order for Chisora to win he will have to pour on the pressure, make Tyson brawl and give up his natural height and reach advantages. Chisora will have to be disciplined on defense and counter effectively.
I believe time waits for no man and especially no man who is a pressure fighter, Tyson Fury wins by TKO in the 8th.

Even if Chisora was out of shape, Tyson wasn't in the shape he is now and Chisoras fitness wouldn't have affected him much in the first round. Just watch that round. Tyson controls Chisora quite easy and has a grin on his face.
A lot of people have invested emotions in to their opinion of Tyson because of the things he says and sometimes how he fights BUT the bigger the risk, the better he box's!
I believe Chisora was fit last time. His nutrition might not have been what it is now but I don't think he wasn't training hard and wasn't fit. He lasted the 12 at a good pace.
Tyson stops him early I think. Chisoras looked shaky a few times in his last few fights. Having to go for little walks to break any action. He did it against Johnson in his last fight. The cumulative effect of Tyson, Helenius, Klitschko and Haye has dented Chisoras durability.
Hopefully this is a breakthrough fight for Tyson, with regards to how he is percieved.
Haye may have got a very good result against Chisora but up until that point he was having more problems with him than tyson did.

Good assessment ross and I think Tyson also has a lot of frustration to let loose and a lot to prove from his long layoff. He can't get lazy, predictable, or take his eyes off the prize here.
Dereck is a bit mental but also he doesn't offer much in terms of being crafty or cagey. Dereck is just a typical pressure fighter who has little to no power in his punches.
As a boxing fan, as a fan of the heavyweight division, as a Wladimir Klitschko fan I would like to see Tyson Fury live up to his fullest potential in this fight and just dominate but I want Dereck Chisora to give his all as well because a win over an uninspired Chisora won't get the fans riled up.
Tyson Fury has the opportunity to be Wladimir's main rival which would be big for boxing in general.

You may not be excited by the thought of this rematch but it wont be boring. Neither fighter fights boring.
re: Fury-Chisora II/Billy Joe-Eubank jr
I think Fury wins around 10th - but not after a few shakey moments and maybe a visit to the canvas
Am in London that weekend and still toying with idea of going

yeah youre right, it will probably be a good fight
i can think of a lot of fights id be less interested in seeing
re: Fury-Chisora II/Billy Joe-Eubank jr
Fury has fought nobody apart from Chisora in the first fight that is remotely any good , really does show what a shit state of affairs the division is in when the winner of these two clowns gets to fight for Wlads title.;D
I hope Del Boy wins but tbh doesn't really wet my beak this one compared to Saunders v Eubank;)
re: Fury-Chisora II/Billy Joe-Eubank jr
Tyson Fury fell for the "I think David Haye will actually fight me" bit so he's been doing NOTHING lately. I don't think he has fought the greatest competition but hell who else is there to fight?
The biggest knock of Fury's competition that I can see is that he's yet to fight a big puncher....not a good sign going forward really. I wouldn't have minded Fury vs Helenius at one point in time.
The knocks against Chisora are: in pressure fighter years he's nearing the end, he has 0 punching power, and he's terribly inconsistent and completely mental
re: Fury-Chisora II/Billy Joe-Eubank jr
This is a fight that Fury should win, as usual he's enjoying a substantial height and reach advantage (7 inch height, 11 inch reach) so for him to not be able to control chisora would speak poorly of his basic ability.
Chisora has looked better when he's been lighter (260+ at 6 foot 1?! Fuck me), but I also think that 12 hard rounds with vitali and getting heavily dropped by haye twice have taken a lot out of chis.
His 'success' against haye was that the extra weight he had on haye, smaller range difference and his solid chin allowed him to walk haye down, but he didn't really land anything of merit, other than a slapped left after the bell.
It would have interesting to see how the first fight would have went if chisora had came in a stone or two lighter, you wonder if he would have kept up the attack like he did in the second, but by the third he seemed spent and we got 10 rounds of sporadic and half hearted attacks.

Who has Eubank fought and who do you think wins from Eubank and Saunders?
You are letting the fact your not keen on Tyson cloud your judgement.
As for Fury hasn't faced any punchers, Abel dropped Pulev and actually hurt Arreola, he landed on Tyson. When Tyson turned it up he had Abel down every time he let his hands go. Out of shape and looking for rounds he beat abel easier than Pulev did and Abel had a decent amount of notice compared to the day he had against Pulev.
Chisora had success against Haye because he had a weight advantage but that weight advantage was a disadvantage against Fury;D
Lighter, he's going to be easier to manhandle for Fury. Tyson hurt him in the first round of the first fight with a left hook I think it was.
