Khan faces Williams test




Olympic silver medallist Amir Khan's sixth professional opponent will be Jackson Williams from Norwich.

Khan will face the 24 year-old Sports Science teacher at the Excel Centre in London's Docklands on February 25 as a portion of the Danny Williams vs Matt Skelton undercard.

Williams, who has won 12 of his 15 fights sees the Khan fight as a perfect opportunity to impress.

"It is a great opportunity for me and I know I will be a good opponent for Amir Khan," said Williams.

Any chance if this will be on iTV?

it probably will be on ITV. But it won't be showing in the states :'(

All his fights are on ITV for the next year apparantley as warren has a good deal with ITV and some of the nuthugging Hatton Fans won't like me stating this fact but Khan is the Biggest UK boxing draw at present.
The TV ratings go through the F*cking roof when he fights and is often shown as the main event...
Warren has had a TOUCH signing him up and i feel he's in the best hands possible ;)

Khan will do him fast again and i can't see it going past 2 rounds.
I really think he took on board what Calzaghe said to him about.."Not getting paid for overtime" and i totaly agree ;)

Williams has no chin from his record. He was stopped by Lee McAllister and Haroon Din who couldn't break potato chips with their punches and he has a Decision loss to Anthony Hanna who had 55 LOSSES!!!!

no but a decent lightweight...maybe someones whos actually the same height as khan might help. :)

what does the height have to do with it tht shows u know nuthin mike tyson and rocky marciano were short for heavweights but still two of the best fighters ever khan is tall for his weight so finiding some one tht height will be difficult

well if they are shorter then khan it will be harder to reach him. ::**
