I liked Chris Bryd peppering his opponents!
If you are a fan of boxing in general, then you have to like Chris Byrd and the way he peppered guys to pieces.
He had an "ok" chin, albeit Ibeabuchi slammed the soul out of his body with that left hook in their fight. But Chris was winning that fight and making Ike look bad until Ike changed tactics, changed direction and hit him. That was a brilliant ko and Ike, when seeing what Byrd was doing to him, played it perfectly- the only way Ike could have won was by ko.
But what Byrd did to Tua I was totally shocked by. He made a total and complete ass out of Tua the whole night. I could have sworn Tua would have caught him with something, but that something never came as Byrd just peppered and twirled Tua around the ring for the entire fight.
Give it up to Chris Byrd. A pure pleasure to watch as a fighter, even if he had little to no knock out power in the knock out division.

Byrd was an underrated boxing master. One of the best pure boxers in HW history. The HW Pernell Whitaker as they sometimes called him.

Too bad he did not have much power, or else he would have been a real serious HW Champion of note.

He had decent power for a MW gone up to HW I guess. And he dug REAL HARD to the body.
Byrd was really hurt Vitali to the body and beating him up good at the time he had to quit.
