Yeah he has been aspiring to that for years now.
I for one think that is disgusting. Wlad is 2ce the size of the young men in there, most of which are not even fully grown and has 20 times the experience. How can any amateur boxer be expected to compete with that.
It goes totally against the Olympic spirit to allow this, it's ridiculous.

Why do they do this crap one sport at a time. They should just go all in or not at all. Too many professionals will keep their name out of the hat when there is such disparity. You end up with an amature in there with a seasoned pro. That''s just not right some of these boys can get hurt.

Olympics sold its soul when they allowed professional basketball players to enter. Then it was tennis players.

True. But this is even worse. People don't get seriously hurt in basketball or tennis when they lose.
