2007

2007 was a helluva year to be a boxing fan!

Pavlik vs Miranda Miranda was supposed to be the man-damn they slugged it out!!

Barrera vs JMM
Earl vs Katsidis- round four was a candidate for FOTY
Mayweather vs De La Hoya- high profile fight where Floyd met DLH at DLH's weight
Hatton vs Castillo
Cotto vs Judah
Williams vs Margarito- nonstop punching!!
J. Diaz vs Freitas- Baby Bull solidified himself and ended Acelino's carrerr
Hopkins vs Wright
Katsidis vs Amonsat-a star was born...short lived, but he came up with a bang!


D. Diaz vs Morales-Morales showed he had something left in the tank-even in defeat.
Pavlik vs Taylor- MW title fight for the ages.
Calzaghe vs Kessler- The better boxer lost to the unorthodoxy of JC. Great boxing scrap!
Dawson vs Tarver- Dawson made us think he would rule for awhile with this performance!
Mayweather vs Hatton- Beats two major names in one year.
Cotto vs Mosley- evenly matched, just a great fight.
Juan Diaz vs Julio Diaz
Pacquiao vs Barrera


I'm sure there are a few more, I missed for this year, but for now...;D

I have a soft spot for 1986 because Tyson became champion. I will check out what happened in that year as I am sure there were some great fights then.
