Whats Ricky Hattons issues with his parents and brother it seems?

Great special on Sky the other day,Ricky even said a few nice things about Frank Warren but very sad what Ricky said about his parents. Ricky did not even mention his brother Mathew who he seemed very close to at one point.

What is the big issue that cant be sorted out? Very Very sad.

I'm sure the money thing was to do with Ricky's dad only giving billy graham 10% of the purse for the mayweather fight when ricky always gave him 20%. I could be wrong but this article explains why they fell out

Shame, it's always money that comes between people. Happened a million times before, will happen a million times again.

Money makes trouble and I would imagine, there was a fair bit of cash involved in the bust up,
familys are terrible fucking each other over, were money is involved been there got the badge.;)

That makes sense dad keeps 10%,! Billy and Ricky fall out then after Ricky finds out he falls out with
his parents,! people who you have entrusted with your finances should be trust worthy weather they
are family or not. It's sad yes it's about money but TRUST to me is a big part of it.:(

I think there's a rather decent chance it's all Ricky's fault. He is known for being able to laugh at himself but he also have a long history of denying the truth. If Mathew had sided with him or even stayed neutral then you could think maybe it was the folks. But not one call from Mathew, sounds like it's probably more collateral damage from the train wreck that is Ricky Hatton

He is hardly a train wreck. He has had episodes and problems but he seems to be trying to be active and positive with his gym and the fighters he helps train and promote. Jeez ;D

It's hard to adjust I should Imagine when fighting and then boxing has been your life since about 8 years old, when you finally hang up the gloves. Families can be bastards too and it's not always the children at fault. We shall probably never know because they will all have their own take on things but have chosen to keep schtum.

You're right. I was too harsh. I just want to see the guy do well and part of beating your demons is facing them.

I started a thread on this a while back. It's a shame and even more so when it is seemingly over money which you would assume there would be more than enough to go round and then some. It seems that money cannot always buy happiness and a shame if that is why a family is divided. Life is meant to be harder when you don't have money!

It's pretty easy to judge, but when shit like this is happening to you it's extremely hard, and it
will fuck you up mentally. Ricky has to live his life to suit himself not others, and family fall outs
can be like being at war.!
We can have our penny's worth, but end of the day this has happened to Ricky not us good luck
to him.

None of us really know what happened apart from Ricky and his dad.

Hope they cansort it out in the future.
