Note to Billy Joe Saunders - Get a promoter that gives a f**k about you!
I'm not a Frank Warren hater, when he deserves credit, I give it to him. Respect for getting all the top American fights on Boxnation and not charging extra, not ppv'ing the Fury-Chisora card, these examples stack up well compared to Sky. Getting Derry Matthews a World Title shot when Crolla had to unfortunately drop out is very good business for his fighter. Managing to get Khan to a World Title after the Prescott debacle, and also delivering for Calzaghe and Hatton before it all ended in tears, all credit to Frank.
But....... If I was BJS, I would be begging Eddie Hearn or Sauerland to take me on. I don't believe that Frank couldn't have got him the title shot against Korobov ahead of Andy Lee. Lee's last fight had been at LMW and he was getting beat before the Hail Mary shot , so how did he get a shot?
BJS did Frank a massive favour agreeing to fight Eubank, because that bill was going nowhere before that fight was announced. It probably should've been top of the bill. Then I thought that the WBO ordered the winner of Korobov v Lee to fight BJS within I think 90 days.
So how come all of a sudden Andy Lee is getting a homecoming fight of his choice and BJS is probably fighting Blackwell again! (no disrespect to Blackwell.)
I can't help thinking that Warren isn't doing right by his fighter. All he wants to do is fight for the World title and for whatever reasons , Frank can't deliver , even When it's Mandatory!
don't get me wrong, I don't know whether BJS is a World Champion in the making, but what's the point of being in the game if you don't aspire to that? He's getting shafted.

This happens sometimes a fighter is left in limbo, BJS is waiting in the wings I bet Lees people have
paid BJS step aside money with out a doubt.!
Frank is well in with the WBO, BJS will get his shot don't worry he can do with a warm up fight as he
said himself he is still learning.
Andy Lee gets his home coming fight, BJS fights once but gets paid for 2 fights,! then he fights Lee.;)

Add the fact that the guy BJS just beat, now has a world title shot, before he does.

Saunders should thank Warren he got the Eubank fight because that fight got him massive exposure and also got his ass in hear to train hard for once and come to the scales looking in shape. He needed that threat to get in shape. Im sure warren was ifing amd amming in his mind whether Billy Joe could get in proper shape. I also think Booth and Lee have paid some money for Saunders to step aside.
Lee wants a guaranteed win in front of his home crowd.
My only problem would be why Blackwell?

Just posted another thread where Lee is I'm advance talks to fight Quillen. If I was Saunders I wouldn't mind , he's still young and there's nothing wrong with building more experience. World title shots can be rushed IMO sometimes! he's got the mandatory slot he should keep improving and fight another big name and then go for it.

BJS is a very good fighter, i think he will be very hard to beat and has a very good chance of winning a world title
problem with him is is he isnt that appealing
if someone told me he had a world title shot id watch without a doubt, but i wouldnt miss a party for it
and party night wouldnt stop me watching Eubank Jr fighting for a world title
perhaps his promoter is finding it hard because the audience isnt there

Where is this Billy Joe-Blackwell stuff coming from?
The board ordered Billy Joe-Blackwell for his British title. It doesn't mean it's gonna happen, he can vacate the belt as it makes zero sense once you're in a "world" title position, same with his commonwealth and European titles
