Muhammad Ali vs. Earnie Shavers
"Round 2"
After the Champion played around and did his 'circus act', Earnie said > "Enough of this Shit"
At the {1:41 Mark}, Earnie first tested Muhammad's chin with a jolting right-hand, sending
the Champion scurrying backwards into the front-left Corner.
Muhammad 'grabbed-and-held' to buy time, before circling around the Ring flinging out harmless
'Butterfly Power' left jabs.
As Earnie pressed, he was waiting for the opening.
At the {2:00 Mark} it came, as Earnie countered Muhammad's soft-and-lazy left-jabs with a
'picture-perfect' right-hand on the chin.
Muhammad was immediately staggered as his eyes-rolled in the back of his head, as he had to
grab the top Rope strand on the back Ropes to prevent from going down.

sending Muhammad out scampering off the Ropes.
Then, Earnie tagged Muhammad with another 'left-right', sending a staggering Muhammad to
the front-center Ropes.
At the {2:21 Mark}, Earnie launched a 'brain-jarring' right-hand into Muhammad's head.
Muhammad looks 'bewildered' and is in a fog.
At the {2:24 Mark}, Earnie slams Muhammad with a 'left-right', and sends him flopping into
the front Ropes. The 'smirk' that was on Muhammad's face earlier, has been wiped off his face.
Earnie slams in a straight 'left-right' to Muhammad's chin, and Muhammad is now driven into the
front-left Corner.
Earnie tags Muhammad with a grazing right-hand to the chin at the {2:29 Mark}, forcing Muhammad
to 'grab-and-hold', much like a Schoolgirl.
Muhammad now grabs Earnie, and is holding on for 'dear life' for the next '8-Seconds'.
At the {2:37 Mark} > Earnie sends in a short jarring right-uppercut into Muhammad's chin.
Muhammad staggers to the back-left corner, as he continues to try and hold onto Earnie.
Earnie lands a glancing right to the chin.
At the {2:50 Mark} > Earnie move in, and sends '2' thudding right-hands into Muhammad's left side while he hangs on.
Earnie tags Muhammad with a glancing right to the chin.
Muhammad continues to hold-and-grab.
{3:00} > The Bell sounds, saving Muhammad Ali from getting stopped.

This bout was held in New York, so it was by the Round system.
On the 10-Point system, Earnie wins Round 2 by a ......... 10-8 score.

It's OK though Bill, by round 2 Quarry was fast asleep
(by that I mean he was already at home in bed, after walking through everything Shavers threw)

I had that whole fight for Earnie except for the last minute of the last round in which Earnie, thinking he had won clearly, just covered up and ran down the clock.
What he didn't know was that Muhammad Ali always started his fights with 5 rounds in the bank before the opening bell.
