I like fight... Mexican style!
If you are like me and GGG, and you like fight... Mexican style, who are the top guys who bring FIGHT to boxing?
GGG, Kovalev, Provodnikov, Matthysse, Lemieux, Wilder, Canelo, Kirkland... who are the guys, big names and up and comers, who bring FIGHT to boxing?
Re: I like fight... Mexican style!
Ray Robinson
Salvador Sanchez
Joe Frazier
Holyfield
JCC Sr.
Gerald McClellan
Johny Tapia
Riddick Bowe
Bert Cooper
Tex Cobb
Ron Lyle
Edwin Valero
Marco Antonio Barerra
Anytime those guys stepped in the ring, you knew a fight was bound to break out.
Re: I like fight... Mexican style!
I'd go with all except Ray Robinson... he was involved in a lot of stinkers!!

Hmm, ok, but he was involved in a massacre or two--on the giving end. And he had a one punch knock out hit.
Re: I like fight... Mexican style!
I guess... he could be lured into a fight, but his main objective was to box and be cute.

I love a good slugfest, but my favorite type fighter is the boxer/puncher. That sudden fight ending hook, straight right, or beautiful combo is hard to beat.
Two fighters who bring for the whole fight are hard to beat though.
That's a good point too, sometimes it'll be a great action fight with guys throwing a lot of punches, but when they are both feather fisted guys and lack that one-punch fight ending power, a lot of the intrigue is taken out of it.
That's why Castillo/Corrales was so great, both guys with HUGE power going toe to toe.

I can think of a fight or two:Paul Spadafora vs. Leonaed Dorin.
Neither fighter had pop, bit they gave it all they had.

He lost me in the Trout fight really. He had a poor mans Mayweather 'style' knowing that was coming up and he just played along and thought he was most impressive as a boxer. The kid needs a mean streak and seems to still be looking for identity.
Re: I like fight... Mexican style!
I would put Hagler,
he was there to kill because you dared just to think you can take his title
Re: I like fight... Mexican style!
Eric Morales - non Mexican style?
