It proved nothing. The third one was totally unnecessary. Do we really think that JMM is a better fighter than Manny Pac? Really?

he shouldnt have had the 4th thats for sure
depends how much he got paid i suppose
You're right, it proved nothing. We already knew Marquez had the measure of Pacquiao, after being robbed by the judges twice, only to be robbed a third time ;) and for Marquez to KO him in the fourth fight.
So yes, it proved nothing.
Doesnt necessarily mean Marquez is the better fighter though, he's just Pacquiao's 'bogey' opponent
'proved nothing', 'shouldn't have done it' ...... You're sounding like you support the Floyd Mayweather / Sugar Ray Leonard style of carefully managing one's career.
Pacquiaio is a fighter, he will fight anyone, and he will fight them as many times as they like. That's what I like about the guy, he knows he struggles with Marquez and doesn't look good against him, but he still gets into the ring with him. He knows Marquez is a deadly counterpuncher, but he still leads, pressures him and puts it all on the line.
That's one of the reasons that Pac is the fighters fighter!
The 3rd was so clearly a Marquez win he had to fight Marquez again because everyone in the world knew Marquez was ripped off.
The 3rd fight was one of the worst robberies at that level in years.
Being a real man pac fought him over and over because he isnt afraid to take an L. He gave the guy many chances to win, and he finally did
I'd rather watch a Pacquiao/Marquez than any other matchup - Young or Old. They are made for each other.
