I never really liked Nirvana's music, but Cobain seemed to be a very interesting individual. I might check out the doc as it is supposed to be very well made.
His wife is so annoying.
Was he as popular when he was alive, or did the circumstances of his death add to his popularity?
A few older people have all stated for example that Jimi Hendrix popularity grew after his death.
I never got into grunge, at least in a big way but nirvana had a very big following while Cobain was alive. It's impressive that a band can bring music with a new feel to the spotlight and nirvana did just that. Contain wrote some great lyrics, I guess he was way out there mentally. Drugs only makes that stuff worse but it happens to a lot of we humans. Thank God miles never got into drugs, I think things would have got way out of hand.
Saw it a few nights back, it's a REALLY great watch. Went very deep into Kurt's life and used a lot of extremely personal home footage.
