Andreas Lubitz - how evil does it get?
This sick murderous fuck INTENTIONALLY CRASHED THE PLANE AND MANUALLY LOCKED THE POOR CAPTAIN OUT OF THE COCKPIT. The captain tried valiantly to smash the door in with his shoulder before the sick fuck nose-dived the planed into the mountain.
Im thinking the captain realized somnthing was seriously wrong after he kn0cked and the co pilot scum bag doesnt even deserve that title, wouldnt answer the door. Not only that but the audio recording of the co-pilot showed he was breathing very calmly and slowly, with no sign of fear or stress about what he was doing right up until the impact.
What the FUCK is this world coming to. People were heard screaming bloody murder when they realized this was going down nose first.
I SAY: GOD DAMN, GOD DAMN, GOD DAMN. NO WORDS FOR IT.

Early money is on mental illness...
Germanwings Airbus A320 crashes in French Alps with 150 people on board: latest - Telegraph
It just sucks that people can distort reality so badly that they see a drastic action like suicide as a means to an end, even worse when that suicide is also a mass murder. Sure it'll get the point across to the families of just how bad Lubitz was feeling, but come to people honestly and openly tell them your troubles instead of something like this and things can turn around and be better again.
The mere idea of suicide always stuck in my brain even when I was a child. I heard about famous people, celebrities, musicians, political leaders, even not so famous people like friends/acquaintances of my parents' having committed suicide. It ALWAYS made me wonder, how could things get that bad, what kind of feelings was the person going through to feel that there was 0 possibility of things getting better, to think that there was 0 possibility of ever being happy or at peace again. Of course that got me into some trouble in elementary school when the guidance counselor asked "Have you ever thought about suicide?" well fucking OF COURSE I've had thoughts about it: why someone does it, what causes it, how they did it, what the family and friends of the deceased felt like having to deal with it....all very common very natural thoughts, but of course the guidance counselor never stopped for a discussion I was just allowed to answer "yes" and then of course it was all hands on deck which of course frightened the shit out of my parents until they had a true discussion about it with me. Luckily my thoughts about suicide are not about doing it, but instead are about how people reach that end. Sometimes there's nothing a friend or family member can do, sometimes there's nothing a psychologist or psychiatrist can do......but this event, this is a horrific tragedy.

If the pilot is mentally ill everyone on the plane is dead.

Co-pilot in this case.
Re: Andreas Lubitz - how evil does it get?
i was thinking if they haD HAD ANOTHER 5 OR 10 MINUTES BEFORE THE CRASH, THE CAPTIAN COULD HAVE GONE AND GOT 10 OR 20 MEN TO ALL HIT THE DOOR AT THE SAME TIME AND SMASH IT IN.
Re: Andreas Lubitz - how evil does it get?
It's so crazy to think, it's one thing for a 28 year old to want to die, but to murder 150 people in the process? What a crazy world
Re: Andreas Lubitz - how evil does it get?
I've been trying to avoid the mainstream news as it is a bit toxic, but have heard that the crash was perhaps intentional. Is so, then it is beyond wicked. If you are that pissed off, then put a bullet in your head and be done with it. How dare you take so many innocent people down with you? Not just those people, but the thousands who will carry the trauma through the rest of their lives. It's too much.
Re: Andreas Lubitz - how evil does it get?
Another kind of sick bastard. But what gets me is how does a Captain not have any literal override to subordinate. How long were these two flying together?
Is there ever need for ground based manual override to doors etc. I mean shit, we can track phones in seconds???
Re: Andreas Lubitz - how evil does it get?
How can people honestly throw out terms like suicide or mental illness on this, for fucks sake. He killed 150 random people. He didn't jump off a bridge because he thought he'd hurt his family more being alive, this is someone that murdered 150 complete strangers. I'm not a PC person, but if he were an Arab or Muslim person, it would without question be called terrorism, but now people are going to talk about his feelings or something? Jesus christ.
Re: Andreas Lubitz - how evil does it get?
@Spicoli, apparently on this model of airbus there was an override code, but it didn't work if entrance to the cockpit had been manually denied by the pilot. Ironically in this case, to prevent a hijacking of course.
