Josh Warrington v Dennis Tubieron / Maxi Hughes v Martin Ward - Saturday Fight Night
Interesting little card on Sky tonight, seems like not a month goes by without Josh Warrington making steps in the right direction. I think he should win, and improve his KO percentage too again Tubieron, good hard worker and he's got a future.
Maxi Hughes v Martin Ward should be an interesting one too, hope Maxi Hughes can build on the good work of last time, and get the win this time out.

Not sure if it's worth convincing the missus that this is a must-watch. Only been drinking for 2 hours too.

Seen Nurse plenty of times before, he seems to be a go to undercard fighter up north. He's alright, but nothing special. He beat Taylor, but it wasn't spectacular. Exactly what I'd expect based on his previous record.
Lovely little punch from Maxi Hughes there, hope he can put Ward in a position where he's not confident enough to wear those bright colours in the ring!

Fucking cheaters... 4 minute round for the local.

I'd like to say that you can't blame the boxers for errors in terms of the length of the rounds. As someone who once ran an under-19s netball tournament (I was 21 years old at the time), missing the correct ending to a period is not necessarily such an error to make. My record was letting it run 90 seconds long on a 5 minute period.
With regards to the fight, Tubieron was tougher than I expected him to be, and did well to survive the 12 rounds. Warrington is still on track, and I'd love to go up to an event in Leeds to see the lad fight.

Warrington (brings the fans) vs Selby (more talented) will be a great matchup later in the year (regardless of whether or not Selby beats Gradovich).
It will play out like Hatton-Floyd.

Agreed, he's not ready for Selby yet. Eddie Hearn could have a little cash cow on the go with Warrington though with how much of a buzz he's creating in Leeds so that fight won't be happening anytime soon i don't think.
Can see Hearn wanting to keep Warrington undefeated and maybe seeing about the possibility of bringing a title fight to Elland Road maybe next summer. Leeds Arena isn't really that big.
