Big Knockout Boxing- A glimpse of the future?
Well, they were able to attract notables like Gabe Rosado, Curtis Stevenson and Brian Vera. Is this what we want from boxing in the future?
Personally, I think it is just "different" than traditional boxing. Particularly the shape and make of the ring- no ring ropes, the ring is circular, and it is shaped in an amphitheatre style.
What do you think about it? See below the MW BKB Championship bout between Gabe Rosado and Curtis Stevenson.
I have some thoughts on how to make this a little better, but will throw it out to you to see how you feel:

I couldn't cares less about it, I'm partial to boxers who are able to use the ropes one way or another anyways. Of course the potential for great fights is there, but I don't see what is has to offer differently. Seems all they are doing is attracting fringe contenders who want to stay busy without having their ranking affected or something.
Re: Big Knockout Boxing- A glimpse of the future?
I think it lost the gimmick when the fight was ruled a draw. Sounds pretty familiar. These are guys just run through the mill really and strikes me more American Gladiator meets Celebrity Rehab
Re: Big Knockout Boxing- A glimpse of the future?
Didn't know they got Buffer in on the action. Looks like they are putting some money into this. The fight yk posted will be the first one I watch.
Re: Big Knockout Boxing- A glimpse of the future?
Am I getting confused because iv seen something very similar but the gloves had the knuckle part cut out and im sure the BKB stood for bare knuckle boxing?
Unless what im talking about is a completely different entity?
