Re: Will you buy the fight?
I'm going in with a few friends so yes I'll get it. The fight is even more interesting now that Rocco agrees to leave the forum when Manny wins. Yes, 100 is ridiculous and I doubt there will be only one fight. Floyd will use his rematch clause to make a vain attempt at beating Manny.
Re: Will you buy the fight?
I buy most ppvs just cause I'm not a cheap bastard and I love the sport. Rather watch it in HD then on a shitty laggy stream.
Re: Will you buy the fight?
I live in the UK, we can get the fight for £19.95 (and I will be!)
You guys are getting exploited for $100

I love the sport also but I am a cheap bastard.
Re: Will you buy the fight?
There's no way I'd pay $100. I might have payed that if the fight had happened back in 2010, but I'm not paying that kind of money to see two greats visibly well past their primes carrying out a fight that should have happened 5 years ago.

Tecate is offering $50.00 rebates on Floyd vs Manny fight. Shit dude, I'm going to be saving some real money!
Buy some Tecate and send in that rebate form. Save, save, save! Google it.
Do they sell Tecate in the UK?
Sorry I don't drink, is Tecate a beer. I might buy some and give it away just to get the rebate
Re: Will you buy the fight?
You may be surprised but I will not be buying this and instead will listen to it on radio live 5.
The idea that I will be paying for Floyd's petrol money in his Bugatti sickens me.
Re: Will you buy the fight?
It used to be I would just to a bar somewhere, get a table watch the fight for free and spend the money on drinks and bar food. Not a lot of places have the fight available now.. (officially) because they charge too much for the PPV. Strangely they have every UFC (so im guessing the fees are more affordable).
Im not paying for that idiots 25,000 dollar mouthpiece or Manny's Massage oil for his calf cramps. At the time it should have happened it was probably worth 50 bucks on ppv. Now that they've stalled and dangled it in front of our noses for 5 years till both guys are past it, its supposed to be worth the other 50? The last fight I paid for was Roy making history by winning a piece of the heavyweight title. At least there was significance for that. There's no significance here or history being made for me.
If they charged money to see it next week. Its like well mind as well see it live for a few dollars more. Its free next week and available in 2 places. So i'll stream it and watch it in hd for free next week and get my moneys worth out of both my HBO and showtime subscriptions.
Re: Will you buy the fight?
I think I paid for Roy Jones fight too but I think I did for Tyson v Danny Williams and that was it for me.
Re: Will you buy the fight?
No way, I'll watch it in a sport bar or casino for free if it's not available, I'll stream it.
Re: Will you buy the fight?
I shall part with £19 and stay up and watch it live, I am getting a bit excited thinking about it I
LOVE big fights, I still get a buzz out of boxing.:)
Re: Will you buy the fight?
Nope, just can't do it. This thing will be replayed 1001 times and $100 is like being slapped by these guys wearing silk gloves. Besides Its my birthday weekend and I make a motion that you fine and respectable Saddo fight fans each send me a single dollar in celebration ;D. That should cover the cost and I'll enjoy the live show :beerchug: In return I will contribute to the RBR with obscure ass backwards analogies, sarcasm fueled by numerous adult beverages and flawed but well intended sentence structure and bad grammar :author:
