One Country for Pacman ( Isang Bansa Para kay Pacman)
The whole Philippines will be rooting for Pacman and there will be zero crime in the Philippines on May 3 (Philippine Time).
What a way to support a fighter whom the Filipinos consider as a national hero.
To those who are rooting for the Pacman, share your thoughts on how Pac would win against Mayweather in this thread.
To start, I have this feeling that Pac's determination to win will make a big difference in this fight. Mayweather's defense may be excellent but we have seen him lose his defense in his fights with Zab and De La Hoya. Imagine how Pac's speed and weird angles ( aside from his knock down power which he has consistently shown in his fights) would batter Mayweather now that he is very determined to prove to the world that he is the best in this generation.
My fearless prediction: Mayweather will go down by the 10th, 11th round or 12th round with some knockdowns in the 4th or 5th round.
:cool::cool:

You don't go from Algeri to victory over Mayweather lil fella.
Speed and weird angles is what he will see against Mayweather..and he will not like it.
Re: One Country for Pacman ( Isang Bansa Para kay Pacman)
kumusta ka na Pacfan?
I'm not rooting for either fighter. However:
If I could envision a Pac victory: Pac darts in with 4-5 punch combinations from the start of the bell and finishes each round doing the same.
Punch rate means everything- he has to end every round with a flurry to impress the judges.
Anticipate the laser right hand. This means Pac will have to exhaust twice as much energy as PBF.
When he fought MAB I-- there was some head butting- MAB complained. I'm not sure how much of it was positioning or possibly intentional. I say employ that strategy every time PBF tries to clinch (and he will) Use his head as well as his fists to try and bust up PBF. That is the only way I could see him getting a stoppage. PBF has an underated chin. But he cuts like anyone else.
Re: One Country for Pacman ( Isang Bansa Para kay Pacman)
I hope you are right Bruce, I will be hoping PAC Man wins.

Yo buddy, @SlimTrae, you're exactly right about the possibility of exhaustion. I remember Hatton and Mosley doing just that and ended up all exhausted long before the 12th. But not to worry, Pacquiao knows how to properly phase his offense and he usually fights in spurts, starting his real attack at the last minute of every round. That's how he keeps himself pretty fresh up to the last round. My only worry is if Floyd decides to run, I mean run-n-hit and that's different from hit-n-run, it's more of hitting while running, just like what Algierri tried to do. But the big difference is that Al can't hit. If Floyd does that, I'll give him the edge.

Accuracy > punch rate.
Manny has poor accuracy and sloppy technique.
He STILL falls in with his hands down like a fresh rookie.
A real trainer would have solved that problem looong ago.

Pac won't be able to take breaks...Floyd doesn't let you do that.
Manny is in over his empty head.;D

Even the greatest fall sometimes, both at their very end of their carriers in boxing, anything can happen.
Hopeless is a word for people who give up. either floyd or manny will give up

Both are at the end of their careers.
One is reckless with glaring flaws.
The other has defense built right into his stance and is in the gym while the other guy is sleeping or in the casino.

And Floyd can expect to see some of that from Manny, or do you expect Manny to be awestruck and just stand in front of Floyd.
I'm hoping we see a great fight with both of these guys showing us what they have left.
Manny is sloppy as hell...
His angles leave him squared-up with his hands down.
Bradley had Manny on Elvis legs and he is nothing compared to Mayweather.

Wildly optamistic quote.
I'm sure crime rises during events like this when people are occupied with other stuff.
