Re: Floyd Mayweather - " I will be aggressive from the opening bell"
Theres no way Floyd can win this sitting back and pot shotting Manny as he's simply too busy and throws too many punches, he's gotta stand and fight or he's gonna be 5-6 rounds behind by mid way then he HAS to fight.
This is when i see Manny catching him with a massive left and finishing him off.
Mayweather is gonna be Massively outside of his comfort zone he's fought in Since he fought Oscar ;)
And on Older legs now too ;)
Pacquioa by 5-8 round stoppage

Pac's on old cramped up legs with a shaky chin.
Even Tim Bradley had him wobbling.
Re: Floyd Mayweather - " I will be aggressive from the opening bell"
Bradley had him wobbling? Bradley hit him and that was it really. Many people have hit Pac and how wobbly is that chin? Pretty good actually.
The trouble with Manny for Floyd is that he is so sharp and versatile too and that is why this fight is so compelling. If Manny can keep the pace for 12 rounds, then this is going to be a tough ask for Floyd too. People always underestimate Manny and I am guilty as charged too. I've been watching a lot of Manny fights recently and now truly appreciate him and it was always hard as he was beating up Barrera and Hatton. Time heals and he was great. I hope he can still be great and hopefully retire with a great win rather than going on too long like all too many do.
Re: Floyd Mayweather - " I will be aggressive from the opening bell"
I think what you're going to see from Floyd is CONTROLLED aggression. He's not going to come out swinging wildly like Provodnikov. I see it more like Wladimir/Haye. He's going to stand his ground, try to keep Manny on the back foot, peck away and constantly look to counter. You're going to see a lot of jabbing to the head and body, and I think we're going to see Floyd use a stiff right cross to the body.
People talk about Floyd being out of his comfort zone, which is true because obviously you can't fight Manny the same way you fight Maidana or Canelo. But the same goes for Manny: he's used to being the much faster man and he does his best work against slow, one dimensional guys. He's not used to fighting a guy with the same speed as him, he's going to get hit in positions and from angles he's never been hit before, and he's going to get countered in ways only JMM has done. Manny has a ton of bad habits that he gets away with against slower guys, Floyd will make him pay for those habits.

I don't think the entire quote was posted.
Floyd Mayweather - "I will be aggressive from the opening bell. And if you believe that..... I've got some beachfront property in Las Vegas I'd like to sell you."
Really??
Floyd is gonna change his style after 47 undefeated fights? Floyd is a counterpuncher. It's up to Manny to bring the aggression. Getting involved in a chess match is not Manny's style nor is it in his best interests. He'll have to bring it. That's where Floyd will be waiting. Pressing the action will be on Manny.

Definitely controlled aggression, no way Floyd comes out swinging like Hager - Hearns.
Re: Floyd Mayweather - " I will be aggressive from the opening bell"
Not his style, not what he does.
When you use controlled aggression, you peck away and you're always ready to counter, you can make a guy second guess himself and get him flustered. Aggressive doesn't have to mean brawling, slugging toe to toe or looking for the one-punch KO like Mike Tyson. Floyd can fight aggressive, but he usually does it in spurts. In all his fights at some point he decides to stand his ground and advance forward, and he's always very effective in doing so.

I've been watching Manny's fights since he started and I was wondering why people had been underestimating him. Especially with his fight against Barrera. I was sure that he would knock Barrera but people couldn't see it. I was a lone voice during those times. Probably, I was the lone pactard here. I was ridiculed then when I said Manny's going to be a great fighter.
Now, in this fight with Mayweather, I know that if Pac's would simply do his "in and out" fight, he will knock Mayweather out.

Cant see it myself bro but good luck I hope you are right.
I hope to at least see Floyd hurt and rethinking I want to see him fully tested.

Bro, it's weird that, just like Pacfan, I feel that this will be an easy fight for Pac. Mayweather's defense will certainly fall with Pac's handspeed and weird angles. Pac's punching power may have diminished in effect as he goes up in weight but you can't deny it as he was knocking his opponents (Rios, etc.) even in the welterweight. Imagine its effect on Mayweather if he is knocked down. He hasn't been in that situation before.
Re: Floyd Mayweather - " I will be aggressive from the opening bell"
Floyd has height and reach advantage and he will sit back and use that for 12 rounds if he could because he is a boring boxer who can not and is not interested in entertaining any fans.
PAC Man has to initiate the fight but will be scared of making a mistake.
The fight may end up a borefest with moments of excitement.
