Then moving up to Heavyweight you have no division limit. Not many Heavyweights weight 220lbs or less, so the gulf is massive. Historically, all other fighters think that heavies are big, slow, and stupid. When compared to guys up to 147, this is glaringly obvious. It is very true among middles and almost always true among light heavies. Thus they move up, figuring that fast and smart trumps big. Generally it does not.
