Lee Haskins-Ryosuke Iwasa --- Sat/Channel 5. Fact.
Iwasa is 19-1 (12 ko's). His only defeat coming four years ago against current unbeaten WBC champion and Ring ranked no.1 bantamweight Shinsuke Yamanaka.
No disrespect to Haskins but the simplest way to describe him is a poor man's Naz without the power, speed or fluidity. He's been duffed up a few times when stepping up in class (remember back in the day when Ian Napa started to do a number on him and he quit the corner stopped it because he damaged his hand).
Not much footage of Iwasa on youtube but enough to see he looks pretty useful. A southpaw who is six years younger than the 31-year-old Haskins, has a couple of inches in height (nothing new to Haskins) and a five inch reach advantage.
Obviously Haskins has home advantage which could play a massive factor as ever. This is for some interim IBF bollocks.
However, the bookies make the Japanese fella the 11/8 underdog.

Haskin is fighting on free TV that is all that matters. He will win and become a future star.

31 year old 12-year pro Lee Haskins will become a future star? :scratchchin:
But yeah anything on 'proper' telly is good I agree. Some big fights would be nice though.

I was being sarcastic, can't you tell. :)

I like Lee Haskins, he's from the westcountry.
I like Chris Sanigar, he's from the westcountry and coming back form Cancer like he has is very inspiring.
I like Rocky Christian (Haskins lucky cornerman), he's proper westcountry because he is from Plymouth.
I also love Japan and Iwasa may well be too much for Haskins. I did have a brilliant joke about Pasties and sushi but have forgotten it now. Any way I shall be watching, Ale in hand whatever happens.
Get on bey

Re: Lee Haskins-Ryosuke Iwasa --- Sat/Channel 5. Fact.
Opponents for the house fighters so far - two eastern europeans that will be back to work on a London building site come Monday morning and a fat Kenyan whose age is listed as 26 but is clearly 36.
Re: Lee Haskins-Ryosuke Iwasa --- Sat/Channel 5. Fact.

Although I don't blame you for not watching boxing for once, isn't Spike on freeview?

It was on Spike. Fenster's post saying 'it's on Spike' was the main clue ;) .
Went off air at 9.30.
Was utter garbage. And Young Fury put me off my dinner.
