I'm getting embarrassed for GGG

He's saying Ward turned him down speaking of when Ward had his contract dispute. It would all be fine if we didn't remember them replying that GGG was focused on clearing out 160 when Ward asked them directly. We all remember that. But even that would be fine with his trash talk if he was willing to fight Ward now! But he says Ward needs to build his name and fanbase back up. So GGG won't fight him now and wouldn't fight him when he was asked but he's talking shit about how he was willing when everyone knew Ward wasn't fighting. That's pathetic. Looks like Ward is tired of waiting on him and has ongoing talks with Kovalev for spring 2016. Better stop talking and act quick GGG if you ever intend on taking a legacy fight.

Simple statement to end. If a boxer isn't willing to fight another boxer he should not talk smack about that boxer. Fight or zip it.

Agree with Erics here. The only reason GGG has talked about mopping up. The MW's is because he's getting no takers for other fights. I have never heard GGG say he wouldn't fight someone.
Ward is a great fighter, and would probably beat GGG, but the fact he talks about everyone ducking him, yet has fought once in 3 years and that is against (no offence to Paul Smith) a shop worn journeyman and pushing the fight weight up, speaks volumes really.
Golovkin fights 4 times a year, and because he is so avoided, there's bound to be one or two tomato cans in there.

Do not feel sorry for GGG. He is doing well and clearing the MW division like Hagler would have.

So I guess that means William Monroe Jr. and Martin Murray are world class, high action fighters?

Ward is probably the best (most skilled) fighter not named Mayweather in boxing today, and a fight with Ward would likely generate as much $$$ as the Monroe and Murray fights combined.

In fact, this is likely one of the few fighters out there that could get GGG on PPV.

He hasn't, however GGG is becoming a bit of a household name as of late so he would be the draw.
Not a lot of opponents out there that the media and PPV companies could sell as well as they could with Ward's pedigree.
