I went through a little during military training but I was watching a documentary about some oss ops during ww 2 and what those goes endured is amazing.
TBH I don't think I would hold out during torture. I'd make things up if I had to. I thought about it when I was on patrol in foreign countries. If they catch me I really don't know much but they won't believe me so I'll have to make things up. They didn't give us cyanide. Do you think you would puss out under torture?

Theres not many options left to you,depends on how much time they have got for you and how impatient you can make the man with the fire and blades.
1a Lies sound a good ploy but may just stretch out the inevitable.
1b Offer to go undercover for them and have a great idea they will buy into already thought out.
#2 Probably my most honest response:
They'd be so sick of my screaming they would kill me to shut me up, win/win.
#3 Then again if it was a real sadist who they put on your ass to make it slow or criminals after cash or info and theres no hope of escape utilize inner anger; you know they are going to kill you eventually so to piss them off and be silent right to the finish may bring your end a little faster as they would eventually get pissed off with you themselves.
#3B get the torturer emotionally involved and lashing out, call him a weak cunt etc, "ha thats luxury you weak assed ponce, who fucking hired you, you little princess you hit like a little girl" ;D etc..:-\
Then they lose and have to dispose of you without payment and you lose too but you were going to anyway. :-\
I can tell you waterboarding isn't that bad. Being sprayed with mace really sucks. Fingernail stuff really hurts.forget the testicle Shit. Go near my nads and I'll tell you Andres home address. Funny, I've broken about ten bones thus far in life, had a number of surgeries but I'm still a wimp. Tooth pain really gets me. Remember Dustin Hoffman in the marathon man, has his teeth taken out no novocaine.
