Boxrec shows this fight set for October 3rd for the vacant WBC 140 strap, but I can't find any legit sources confirming it, anyone heard anything?
I've never seen Postol but hear he's a very good boxer and his record would suggest that, might be a really good clash of styles? Any thoughts on this one if it happens.

Not that I'm that high on typical Ukraine looking Postol.
I've only really watched him fight and get a great looking stoppage over the Turk (forgot his name) who, IMO, fought stupid after losing the plot off very early success and was ultimately stopped in style by Postol.
I think postol is fluid with his fists. Gets out the blocks well and in to gear quickly enough and and has good feet so this has 'upset' written all over it if Matthyse the 'box puncher' shows up too measured, trying to lay too much bait and not getting stuck in enough. Not that he needs to let it all hang out, just Postol is no pug and will probably build an early lead and take notes on the way so Matthyse has his work cut out here.
Slight case of rock and hard place for Matthyse because if he does chase the fight to much then he could well end up getting koed too.
I'd actually put money on Postol for a points win but then I don't know how his chin will hold up so I'll stay 55/45 in his favour.
^Every matchup involving Matthysse is interesting.
I'm always tuned in when he's in the ring.
