As much as I could rate Andre Ward. I would have never seen any of that in him. LeeWylie has a serious eye for pattern recognition.

Lee does a lot of great work and I really enjoy his videos.
Andre is a true student of the game and that's why he's successful. He's acknowledged in interviews that he got the jab to the body straight from Floyd. Floyd himself I'm sure got that and a lot of his other techniques from fighters who came before him.
People smash guys like Ward and Floyd for being boring, but guys like them, James Toney, McCallum and so many others kept alive a lot of the dying art of the sweet science.
Definitely. The names you mentioned all seem to be the more studious practitioners of the sport.
Can't wait to check this wilie channel.
Always been a fan of the Bruce Lee "water" comment. Got him on my wish to have met thread.
Wonderful use of using the jab as a range finder to pary shots, targeting the body.
@Master - Gr8 how this video shows my Dog Salvador Sanchez- nice two step- And Ward mimicks it to a "T"!
Shows how Andre has an inside game, outside game, aggressor, counter puncher & can hit any part of his foe head to body.
Great stuff.
He did a great video breakdown of Floyd/Maidana and every time someone accuses Maidana of being a simply "walk forward and throw" plodder/pressure guy, I want to show them that video because he did a great job of breaking down how clever Maidana was and how he had success vs Floyd.
That is good to watch and very skilled.
I watched that a while back :) all of his vids are very good
If only Ward can stay active enough to make it count :-\
