Imagine if we had got to see him in MMA. 3 Olympic Golds, 1 silver. 6'4'', 290lbs of solid Siberian muscle. Throwing 300lb men around like they were paper weights.

Can't even imagine how ferocious his ground and pound would have been. He'd have had such a heavy top game that scrambling or sweeping would be damn near impossible, and his strong man submission game would have been scary. Greatest wrestler of all time!

He sure looked strong n fond of that one move over n over.

I'm sure he could have been a very good mma fighter.

That was the Karelin lift, they named it after him.

Ronda Rousey would have beat him.

Honestly think this guy would have been a beast at MMA. With the right submission and striking training he would've been damn near unbeatable I think.
