Larry Holmes versus that old guy in 1980.
Larry Holmes ..... "It was the easiest fight I ever had. Including when I was a little kid."

Larry Holmes.... "People say Ali was washed up when I fought him. That may be so, but the same thing would have happened if I fought the Ali of '66. He couldn't handle my jab... and never could!"

Beanflicker,
Was this Ali fellow that you mention. Was he ever any good. I don't know of him.

Larry Holmes: Definitely the ugliest Heavyweight Champ in history.....Dude had a high-top fade for so long, they came BACK in style...
He had an ugly wife too. They must have hooked up in high school or something..

Dancing to the hot beat of Bad Company's .... "Rock and Roll Fantasy"
Larry Holmes >
"I worked harder dancing with my wife Diane tonight, than beating up ******** *** in the Ring earlier."
"I just love Paul Rodgers voice, don't you."

Where and when did Larry Holmes say that? Origin of the quote?
Re: Fights in which a fighter purposely punished or toyed with his opponent?
The moment Wright dropped his hands and mugged at Mosley. Shane had zero answers. I think Hopkins has done this more than a few, Pavlik, Joppy or Echols. Think what ya want..when on point Hopkins could make you inept. Its like controlling someone and just beating them up was more satisfying than actually ending the show. Bowe beating the bald off Gonzalez.

Sure that's why when he was Ali's sparring partner & Ali blacked Larry's eye. Larry wouldn't let them ice it . He said leave it I want to show everyone back in Easton & say
"Ali did this" That's why he cried after the Ali fight saying " That man was my hero"
Holmes would have been a very easy fight for Ali in 66

I'd expect you to say something like that haha
Mike Tyson did the same shit after beating Larry's ass. Having respect and admiration for a man does not mean that you can't beat the man.
