I just seen an interview with able Sanchez and he was talking about fights for GGG after he fights Lemieux and if he wins. He was saying they would like the winner of cotto vs canelo but he doubts they will get it so the other fight they are looking at is the winner of Selby vs Saunders. So say Saunders was to win and they GGG wants to fight him, how the hell can Saunders take that fight after saying GGG would kill him and eubank jr on the same night ?
Saunders would do no worse than anyone else Golovkin has faced. Although as you say, he has zero confidence in his ability and would he really be training to the max leading up to the fight with the notion that hes going to get beaten anyway at the back of his mind? Well, not even the back of his mind, hes been quite vocal with no prompting on how bad he thinks his chances are.Quote:

Yes ,Saunders is realistic enough to admit how good GGG is and doesn't have a big enough ego to have to shout out in public how he would beat him. The other way is to pretend you're full of confidence to the extent that despite being a relative novice and having beat nobody of note, you tell the world that your fighter "would beat GGG tomorrow" and that "in the MW and SMW divisions, only Ward can beat him!"
Btw, where is Chris Eubank Jr.?
Saunders was being honest when he said GGG would wipe him and the rest. No harm in being real about the situation.
What Saunders also said was that he would wait until GGG was on the slide and he was peaking before fighting GGG if he had a choice. That is possible.
