Damn, I was in Shanghai one time and saw someone get hit. It wasn't a hit and run but probably because the road was so packed no one was going anywhere. The poor guy was laying in the road and I could see no way any emergency vehicles could get to him. That was like five years ago and to this day I wonder how that guy made out.
No the family sues you direct or your insurance I suppose if any exists. My mate I used to train with went to China to protect some Tong leader (never had to do a thing) because 30 year ago it was big to be seen with Caucasian body guards if you were Asian. They did what was explained in the video exactly one night,accidental hit then backed over the fellow and made certain of it then took off, he flew out the next day realized what he was in. Seems its become more common place there now.
