Wladimir Klitschko P4P #1
The fair and objective BoxRec computer, without the pro-American bias of most of the high-profile sportswriters, now has Wladimir Klitschko as P4P #1.
BoxRec Ratings
(Floyd Mayweather has officially retired).
Re: Wladimir Klitschko P4P #1
I think p4p rating should extend only to those fighters outside of heavyweight because being heavyweight champion of the world means you are the biggest, baddest, and best boxer there is.....p4p is for #2 which I would say is either Ward, Golovkin, or Kovalev
Re: Wladimir Klitschko P4P #1
I would personally say either Gonzales or Rigondeux, as far as skills are concerned.

Yes that's correct the p4p list was originally made up for all boxers outside the heavyweight division

Mike Tyson was regarded as P4P #1 before he lost to Douglas.

Good point, I was just explaining how I view the pound for pound system. I do think Wladimir is the best boxer in the world regardless of division now that Floyd has retired....I just typically leave the p4p rankings for non-heavyweights.
Re: Wladimir Klitschko P4P #1
Yeah it's a bit silly to have Wlad as P4P the best considering he would literally kill everyone else in the world. The legit heavyweight champ is the king of boxing.
The flomos probably think Floyd would whoop his arse though.
Re: Wladimir Klitschko P4P #1
He actually shouldn't even be near the top 10 but the division is so bad that his achievements look great. I think that there are easily 10 fighters better than him. Everybody ranks p4p differently though.

Very unfair comment.
Some people refuse to recognize Klitschko's achievements because he's not from the same country as they are.

So Tyson Fury is now potentially fighting to be the number one pound for pound fighter in the world?
