Is he seriously using the same dumb excuse as every other person? Please be original. Such an idiot. I swear the last 10 Floyd opponents have said the same thing. Did you really think he was going to fight on the inside or are you just trying to be cool and fit in with everybody else and use the same excuse?
And this isn't even about whether you enjoy or agree with floyds style or not. It's about berto pretending like he was surprised that Floyd would fight like that.

Bertos trying to save whatever selling power his remaining matches have. Lets face it. Hes been beat by every style anyway (ko'd by karass, outworked by ortiz, battered and i'd say somewhat outboxed by the ghost) which is why people saw this as such an unworthy match up. He had no chance whatsoever.

Exactly. What was he expecting Floyd to do.
The problem is, everyone tries to beat by being aggressive so it leads to him becoming even more elusive because his opponent's tactics are so obvious.

It would be a better excuse if he didn't get the worst of every exchange when Floyd did trade with him ;D Berto did as well as anyone could have expected, but this is weak. He was in range to land plenty, he just couldn't and was doing a fair bit of holding himself when Floyd stood his ground.

Oh come on Andre. This rings even more hollow when you consider he's also lost when far less fighters just bored into him and beat him up :-X. At least he didn't blame his shoulder. Or his socks or toe.

Berto was never going to trouble Floyd #1 and #2 what the fuck did he expect Floyd to do? Floyd has a style and way of fighting where he wins rounds and that's what he does....why would he stray from that?
