I think I would go Canelo, I think it would make for the more interesting fight and Canelo has decent head movement and a decent punch variety, if he could press forward and try to force Golovkin onto the back foot then it could make for an interesting fight.
In all fairness though I think GGG beats both of them pretty easily and there would always be the chance that Canelo would freeze again if he realises that he can't do anything to get near GGG.
Cotto is the smaller and older fighter so you have to say Canelo. I think Cotto is overall the better fighter but GGG chews up both of them pretenders.

He needs to fight Ward because MW is shit. If he actually wants to prove anything he fights Ward finally. Not "maybe in 2014" "maybe in 2015" and now "maybe in 2017". GGG is far far better than that shit division. If he wants a challenge he fights Ward. If he wants to get rich beating up men who have no chance against him he keeps fighting at MW. Alvarez would make the better fight. But lets be honest it probably will not happen as GGG will fight Sam Soliman or Jorge Heiland as the pattern continues.
