Mismatches. Fun and a waste of time?
On the Golovkin vs Lemieux PPV card there were two mismatches: Tureano Johnson vs Eamonn O'Kane and Luis Ortiz vs Matias Vidondo.
Johnson vs O'Kane was fun, O'Kane has a chin any fighter would be proud of, and he needs it because he has no defense plus he was so happy to go the distance and get the exposure he was fun to watch at the end of the fight.
Luis Ortiz vs Matias Vidondo was a waste of time, pure and simple. If a decent replacement can't be found the fight should be cancelled. I understand the need to keep these guys busy and earning some money but it was a waste time, especially if you are waiting up until 2 AM to watch the fights. Vidondo is a nice guy, but he should not have been on a PPV card. So, what do you think of mismatches.

Tyson had some good ppv mismatches but he was worth it. Biggest ppv mismatch in history Tyson v Spinks.
