Before I sign can someone point me to a report that proves that the rabbit punches definitely caused the brain damage, that the rabbit punches were seriously excessive compared to other bouts and that the ref and doctor showed negligence.

If this said sign our petition to have the actions of Joe Cooper, Dr. Richard Ashby Terrel Williams and David Holland investigated by the Virginia Boxing and Wrestling commission, it might be a bit easier to sign.
There are plenty of questions to be asked/answered, before that happens is not the time to be calling for multiple heads to roll.
I understand what they are trying to do, but putting the cart before the horse is the wrong way to go about it.
Did a rbr on that and Colon took a lot of punishment off clean shots also. Can't see cause to outright ban ref, officials etc though anyone who saw Khan-Peterson and point deductions wanted this ref fired a while ago. Likewise not sure where petition has merit to label Williams a dirty fighter with a long history of it..it was Colon who intentionally smashed him low and lost points. Style wise it was a ugly, mauling clash with him hurt early and often. Whatever the case and in all sincerity the only thing to hope for is recovery for Colon.
True and that it is not allowed to occur again. Heads never roll before an inquisition, I figured this was for that logically, but you are all right they are calling for more here,but i think in hope it begins and isnt just swept off at only Colons expense.Quote:
