Was not impressed by Edwin Valreo at all....
His punches are too wild and wide, and his defence isn't great at all...he also sometimes slaps with his punches.
I just saw his last fight where the guy lasted 2 rounds and Valero looked amateurish to say the least, a good slick boxer imo would beat him easily.
You could already see that he was breathing hard in the first round because he couldn't knock him out ,and was even worse in the second. He took good solid punches and counters because of his poor defence....
Imo, he's the crap version of Ricardo Mayorga

That's exactly what i've been saying for ages! ;)He's wide open when throwing these big rights and lefts.Saying that,he has the power to hurt anyone and if a few losses down the line improves him then he could be a force in the division.
Re: Was not impressed by Edwin Valreo at all....
I've never seen him but from what i've read maybe he could turn out to be a bit similar to ricardo torres?????

yeah, once he faces a good strong fighter with a solid chin who is willing to fight back i don't think Valero will be so special anymore.

Bro I'm no Valero fan and I've only seen two of his fights but looking at his record he definitely has POWER something that can't be taught. All he needs is a good trainer and I'm quite sure we'll have a PACMAN beater at hand :'(

he punches hard i suppose, but he seriously needs boxing skill
Re: Was not impressed by Edwin Valreo at all....
Maybe he does have boxing skill but in order to get a licence,he could be attempting to garner attention by loking everyone. I have seen about 3 fights and I agree with what you say The_One BUT I know at Maxboxing, Doug Fischer, who knows his shit, says he is a really good boxer. Who knows, maybe the hype is getting to him and he is forgetting his basic skills? Maybe he needs a defeat to wake him up?
Re: Was not impressed by Edwin Valreo at all....
...or just a real challenge.
